If I could do it all over again... Part 3

The following day we had class once again. I had asked to change Thursday's class for Wednesday as that way I could repay some extra hours two students had. I was up all day since 4:30 am wearing a tight blue dress and high heels. I have now come to appreciate all the poor damsels who must learn the skill of wearing heels all day, but speaking about myself, I still have a long way to go in perfecting that skill. By 8:00 pm my legs were aching, my feet were sore and the only thing that I could think of was sitting down and not having to get up until the next day when it all started over again. As soon as I stepped in Daniel's hotel flat I kicked off my sandals and slopped down on a chair.

-You look dead today teacher.
-I am dead student.
-You should wear more makeup to hide those bags under your eyes. Or you should sleep.
-Stop being mean. I don't have time to sleep more than I already do. I wear way too much makeup already. Do you believe it that I retouch my makeup around three times a day?!
-No, I don't.
-I'm serious. Early in the morning when I give class to the company, then after when I go give my lunch hour classes and then once again before I give my night classes.
-Well if it's like that then you should just sleep more.
-I do. On the bus. Did I tell you? The other day I went out partying with Ximena and we arrived at her apartment when it was already day time. So I took a shower, got ready and took the bus to my class. The bus was packed out as early in the morning its rush time so I had to stay standing up as all seats were taken. Then of all things that could happen I fell asleep standing up and before I knew it there were two people holding me and fanning my face like as if I had fainted. These two ladies were like "Oh my God! The girl fainted. Get her a seat." The truth is that I had fallen asleep standing up. By that time it had gone so far that I told them: "My blood pressure must have gone down. I didn't have breakfast today and I usually faint when that happens since I have low blood pressure." This guy got off his seat and I sat down, put my bag on my lap, leaned my head on my bag and konked out.
-Teacher you are crazier than I imagined.
-Oh Cmon...I just took the opportunity that appeared in my face. It wasnt planned or anything.
-Well that just proves that you should sleep more.
-If I can put my legs on your lap that's gonna be good enough.
I ploped my legs on his from under the table.
-Yucksss!!! Teacher, go wash your feet.
-I'm too lazy!!!
-So then I won't let you put your legs up on my lap.
-Aiiiii student!!! Fine.

Inisde the large bathroom I entered the jacuzzi while Daniel turned on the hose and pointed the hot water towards my feet.

-This feels soo good. One of the main things that I miss from Rio is taking hot showers.

Daniel aimed the hose towards my legs and hot water splashed all over.

-Ahhhhhhh!!! I HATE YOUUUUU!!!
-Hahahaha...sorry, I had to.
-No you didn't! Vengance will soon be mine, mark my words!
-Oohhh...I'm so scared.
-You should be. Cmon, turn off that hose. My feet are clean enough now. And go get me a clean towel to dry my feet - and legs too!
-Yes Queen Almighty! Anything else?
-Kiss my feet!
-Now you've gone too far!!!

We weren't even half way through the class when Daniel's phone rang and one of his workmates, Fani, let him know that she would be going over to cook us all some special dinner. Julia and Larrissa would stop by later when the food was ready to join us for dinner. Under those circumstances I took on my "professional teacher's" role and we had a normal, routine class with verb conjugation, phrase formation, etc. etc. while Fani stayed in the kitchen cooking away. The night ended with a fantastic pasta dinner and beer, animated conversation and a new english student: Julia! At 11:30 pm I said my "good-byes" and made my way back home even more tired and exauhsted than I was before. But other than that there was nothing to complain. I felt good inside for the closeness I had with Daniel, our good friendship and feeling so at ease to speak about anything and everything. It's not anyday that someone like that comes into our lives. Specially not a student. My English student.

Once again I need to stop here. Keep you posted tomorrow on hopefully the last chapter of my long, long story.
