As we were getting up to follow Clari to the beach hut where her, her sister and cousin were staying Lain pulled out from the beach bag a blue beach dress full of little holes (like netting) and pulled it on top of her bikini.
- WOW! Dan commented.
- Talk about WOW! The dress makes your ass look hugeeee. I said with big emphasis on the hugeeeeee…

- Hehehe…my brother calls it “indecency”. Whenever I wear it to go to the beach he says, “Where are you going with this indecency?”- Talk about indecency…a very sexy indecency!!! Added Clari
Lani just laughed aloud. After five minutes walking on the soft sand we arrived at the “Barraca do Sandro” (name of the beach tent) and the girls got to meet Clari’s sister and cousin: Lelly and Samira. We then all sat down at the table, asked for some drinks and chit-chatted while enjoying the gorgeous beach view.
After a short while we decided to go take a walk on the beach and go see one of Morro Branco’s main attractions – Falesias. Its Morro Branco’s most famous and touristic spot: a spectacular beach with enormous sand dunes all around; colored craggy cliffs forming a never ending labyrinth and after a long upward hike you arrive at a light house with the most breathtaking view ever! The colored sands of the dunes are bottled into beautiful designs and sold along with other crafts such as lacework, embroidery and straw goods at the local beach market. The beach is lined with summer homes and it can get very crowded during peak season (something that we found out the very next day since it was New Year’s).

FOOD!!!
We planned to do this outing (climbing the craggy cliffs, better known as “Falesias”) and so we walked carelessly along the beach towards it while a continuous flow of beach buggies passed us by in the sand. Some were empty and the drivers would approach us offering the coolest outings for their best prices; others had 2-5 people in them and these usually were screaming, laughing and waving their hands way up in the air.

A short while later we reached the Falesias. There was built an outpost which was pretty much a large straw beach hut with wooden picnic benches and tables inside. A vendor stayed inside selling coconut water and bottled water for those daring creatures that would adventure themselves on the long hike up to the top of the Falesias where was the lighthouse. Once arriving there though, we all discovered that we were dead hungry. The walking, sun and sand had made us crave for something to eat and yet we found out that there wasn’t any food to be bought anywhere close by. But gladly, I had brought a large bad with apples, crackers and bread which were quickly consumed in minutes by our famished crowd. We threw all caution to the wind and incorporated our best “are you favela” style while munching hungrily on the snack – turned lunch that was in our front. - Excuse me.
We all looked up from our food to see a young guy addressing us.

- I am sorry to interrupt, but would any of you have a hair elastic you could give me?We looked at him, puzzled by his uncommon request.

- Do any of you girls have an elastic? Samira asked.
- Only the one I am wearing. My sister answered.
- Same with me. Lani said.

ulalalaa
After everyone giving pretty much the same answer the guy looked down, smiled sheepishly and said: - No problem, don’t worry about it. Thanks anyways. With that he turned around and walked away towards a beach buggy where he exchanged a few words with a young brunette girl who we presumed was his girlfriend.
- Poor guy, he was asking the elastic for his girlfriend. It must be terrible to go on a buggy ride with your hair loose as the wind blows it all over your face. My brother observed.

- Yeah, sweet of him to do that for his girlfriend…but none of us have elastics to give him anyways. If I had I sure would have given it to him. Didi said- Hey Lelly, Clari started, what is that on your wrist?
- It’s my elastic.
- Do you have another one holding your hair? Samira asked her.
- Yeah I do.
- Why didn’t you give one to the guy then??? All eyes were on Lelly.
- Ah, I didn’t want to… I like my elastics… she answered sheepishly.
- Are you kidding me? Her sister said. You have a ton of elastics at home, more than you will ever use. Why don’t you give him one, it won’t make a difference to you. - Yeah, Cmon Lelly. Her cousin prodded her.
After a bit of everyone’s 2 % on the matter, Lelly decided to part ways with one of her dear elastics, though by this time the buggy was making its way out and so Clari made the move and went running towards the guy in the buggy holding and waving her trophy high up in the air: the elastic!!! After receiving very heartfelt thanks from both the guy and his girlfriend, Clari came back and was greeted with a large round of applause from all of us.- Hey, that’s unfair! Lelly said for all to hear. I was the one that gave the elastic and yet she is the one that gets a standing ovation?! That’s wrong!!!
- Don’t worry Lelly, there isn’t a single good deed that doesn’t go by unpunished. I joked around. She just frowned.

Falesias
When the food was reduced to only a few crumbs we all got up and decided to start our long and adventurous hike – but our plans were soon changed when we noticed that Lelly, Samira and Clari had left their slippers all the way back at the beach hut where we were drinking earlier on and it was just impossible for them to climb up the labyrinth in the scorching hot sun barefoot. And so it was decided that my brother would run all the way back to the restaurant, get the girls slippers and when he arrived back we would then go on our little adventure. While waiting we decided to lay out our beach towels on the sand, go for a dip in the water and ramble for hours about pretty much everything and nothing. Didi didn’t want to get any sun as she was scared that might make her feel worse and so she stayed in the beach hut, my sister with her to make her some company.

making our way to the Falesias

Something that constantly follows me horny, yucky men saying stupid and retarded come on’s and cameras flashing at my ass. Today was no different. All the “buggeiros” (men that take people to the different nearby excursions) stay at the hut waiting for tourists that want to go for a ride to a close by lagoon, or a crazy buggy ride on the sand dunes or even to a faraway beach. But while they wait for customers they relax at the hut and stay making my life hell with their horny comments. I wasn’t the only one that had to stand the horny looks and comments – Lani wasn’t too far behind, the only difference between her and me is that while I try to ignore them completely, Lani goes on the attack and cuts them off. Oh, how I wish sometimes to be more like her!At last my brother returned victorious with the slippers in hand and we were ready to start the long climb up. There were only two problems: Didi wasn’t feeling her best and since it was around one thirty in the afternoon the sun was scorching hot and would most certainly burn us and we’d all become little crisps if we took the long hike upwards. And so, we had a last minute change of plans. I talked with Samira and we decided that since it was her, Clari and Lelly’s last day here in Morro Branco (they had arrived a few days before we had) we should take advantage of that and all go on a wild buggy ride to visit some of the most famous touristic spots and sites. Since we were eight people in total that would be an extra plus in putting the price down with the “buggeiros” and we would all fit perfectly in two buggies.
After talking to everyone about our plan, I and Samira went to try out our powerful plan of persuasion. Half an hour later in heavy duty bargaining we got an excellent price with two real cool and friendly “buggeiros”, choose our route and off we were, ready for a very exciting ride in Morro Branco. This story will be continued with a LOT of pictures…as you know, a picture is worth 1000 words!
